Real Review - Small, compact mini-cutter

RSC used S501 to make a green turtle sticker, which lay lazily on the cutting machine like a living thing. This was only his second attempt, but he knew how to cut and transfer correctly.

For a user who is new to our products, being able to quickly complete his first project proves that he has good hands-on skills. At the same time, he also made a lot of suggestions based on his first attempt:

There are a couple of things to know about this cutting machine. It is very small and compact. The width is 4 1/2". However, you can also use the 4.4 x 12" mat for longer cuts. The software is very basic. There are many designs to use, but some are costly.

Before you cut, you need to change the blade pressure. It defaults to 15, which is way off for vinyl. I had to crank the pressure up to 45 to get a good cut. Sure Cuts A Lot also supports this cutter, which is my favorite, but I like to try the software provided for a good comparison. This does not support WiFi. Must be connected to your computer. Great speed. Overall a good little cutter.
